I watched the preview for the upcoming Madness 9. It's okay that you didn't finish; you have a life like the rest of us. The preview was great, I love how your introducing new characters to the story, which is actually starting to surface quite a bit. At first it seemed like nothing but pointless violence, but now I see a plot arising. I have a feeling you had that planned out to be that way at some point.

I hope this will be one of the best of the Madness series. That single frame is the proof of definite improvement.

OMG enough with the stupid comments people! Lol it's obvious that Hank Returns (check my madness song out for proof as well as the madness combat 9 trailer) I've been following the series and watched every one. In MC 7, Hank seemed to be dead, killed by Jebus, and it would seem clown also dies. We should all know by now that this is no surprise have you seen Hank's many recoveries??? Well Clown has had his share of recoveries too lol. Now I don't know the name of some of the newer characters, but I think the black guy is the evil controller that was introduced in MC 7 I think it was? He controls the "system". In the end of 8 you see Jebus mess with the system and the screen says "returning to normalty" or something, and everything goes white. Now I think clown is coming back am I right? Jebus can't really die either lol. Now I have a theory here and Krinkels you can correct me on this, but I think that these "experiments" were just made to be controlled by the leader (black dude), and to destroy the experiment that turned against the "scientists", Hank. Jebus of course wanted to kill Hank as well as the clown and black guy because there was no balance. As for the end, I think they were contained in a test area this whole time and the "red sky" cracks and I tihnk in 9 we will see what is outside of the "camps". Either that, or the world was under some kind of dark barrier controlled. If that is the case, we will see what the outside world is like, or, we will see the world rebuilt or restarted. I'm just guessing though this is all based on theories. But we will see this will be the MC that will reveal some interesting things...I am a big fan of madness and can not wait to see this...any predictions or guesses when this will be out or near finished?

Dude, Dawn of The Madness or Xionic Madness should've won. Madness Confabulation was very good, but not as good as DotM or Xionic. Seriously, I'm dissapointed... Atleast you still make good animashuns, and that's what mostly counts. But still though, I don't trust you as a judge anymore.

You never said your"MAGV3"was a duck???

OK. After seeing so many comments 'aboot' people and trying to understand the madness series, I think I can answer a few questions for them all. OK. Madness series is somewhere in Nevada. When we first saw Hank, he was just being himself. I see the first 4 madness flashes as ALL of the characters just living thie lives liek normal. Think "aboot" that for a second. Jebus (He is actually called Jesus, but he is called Jebus for the Religious folk liek myself. Anywho, Jebus used to work for the sheriff and Trick the Clown used to woork for him. We have no idea WHY Hank wanted to kill the Sherrif, but it has nothing to do with Madness Interactives main plot "aboot" the sherrif stealing Hanks pie. The pie thing is just a gag. THe plot to many got confusing at around Madness 4. You see, before madness 5(depredation), Hank just lived liek a normal guy. He beat up the people in combat because he wanted the radio. When he kills the sheriff, he trys to kill Tricky the Clown because he was someone who tried to kill Hank before in the past. The reason Jebus showed up, is because he is "The Savior" and tried to kill Hank for the entire series because of all the evil things he did to him, and to all the normal madness people. This makes sense if you just think "aboot" it really really good liek. When madness 5 came out, which from then on are the episodes that start unveiling the plot to the whole series, Hank goes after Jebus because he wants to know why he continues to be resurected whenever he dies. Hank at this point in time thought that Tricky was dead. That is why he says "OMG CLOWN?!" and shoots him. Jebus is also confused as to why he is being resurected, so he goes after Hank thinking it is his fault. After Hank has shot Tricky, (remember this is happening in Madness Depredation) he understand that their is "moar" to this than meets the "face". Before he can react, Jebus coems out and trys to strangle him. Then things get "freaky" Tricky becomes "Superpowered" and enhanced due to "The Improbability Drive", the thing that the Sheriff had pressed in Madness Avenger, which distorts "reality". He had hoped the distortion would stop Hank for good. Now, In Madness Depredation, before Tricky kills Jebus, Jebus finally realizes what has happened and that Hank is not the target, but he is killed before he can do anything else. Now when we ALL saw Hank up on the cliff, the people in the car who gave him the sword, were the two "new" protaganists of the upcoming Madness Combat 9. The person who was driving is named Sanford, and the guy who gave him the sword is named Deimos. The reason they look so beat up in Madness Combat 9, is because the flying party landed on them, so you can tell it's the same people because the flying party was seen in the madness combat 9 trailer. When madness Antipathy A.K.A. number 6, Hanks new mission now is to kill anybody who gets in his way, because he now knows that he has to turn of the Improbabilty Drive. When the button to turn it off is found "taped" down, Tricky attacks him so Hank now has to face Tricky. When we saw "Jebus" raking leaves, after learning the truth in number 5, he tried to have a normal life and let Hank try to turn off the drive, or he could have just tried to live with it on. So as the flash goes on, Hank blasts Tricky off the cliff and thinks that he was won. But "someone" resurrects him deeming that Tricky The Clown CANNOT die. Indicating that it is impossible to happen. SO when we are ehre in Madness 7, Hank lost the battle to Tricky and was revived again, but not by Tricky. Hank wants to stay dead, that is why he says "KNOCK IT OFF". So in the end, as Hank tries to flee from Tricky and his men, he is "saved by Jebus", who proccedes to kill him because he had unfinished business with him, and he wants Hank to suffer for the crimes that he had commited . He then kills Tricky because he is past over due. Again, Jebus, the reason he came back was because he knew that he was the only one who could stop the madness. Now, In Madness Inundation, Jebus tries to turn off the Improbability Drive. Now, when the blast at the end coems, it is the blast of normality being restored. Now, to answer some in detail questions, the first person that hank killed with the boom-box in the first Madness Combat is NOT Tricky the Clown. Many people believe he was once Tricky because he plays the chicken song in Madness 4 at the end. The guy died, was turned into a zombie, and had his head blown off by Hank. SO he cannot be Tricky. Second, when Tricky died in Madness Avenger by Hank in the Marshmellow scene, it was THE HIGHER POWERS that resurrected Tricky NOT Jebus. Now, the Higher Powers are the people who have resurected Jebus, Hank, AND Tricky. The reason that they did that was because they enjoy watching them fight over each other and find it amuzing. Now the head boss of the Higher Powers is "The Auditor". The Auditor is the black madness character with the red glowing eyes. He is liek the main Antagonist of the ENTIRE madness series. Now, Sanford and Deimos are on a mission to resurect Hank because they might just be fans of him and want him back alive. Now you see, Krinkels himself has stated that Tricky the Clown AND jebus will not be coming back to life. go to www.madnesswiki.com and it has alot of information that you will enjoy. So Jebus is gone, Tricky is gone, and The Auditor is still alive. These are the facts people, so I hope that you will not be confused "aboot" madness any moar. On a side note here, The Auditor could spawn weapons from nowhere liek his guns and swords. However, now that normality has been restored, I'm guessing that he probably cannont do that anymoar, as reality is no longer disorted. For those of you who are asking and saying "Well why would'nt he just spawn a bunch of mini guns, or ressurect his fallen agents?". That's because if he did that, then the series would never coem to an end. Krinkels, I know it's impossible almost to get you to respond to comments, but if theres anything i left out or if there's anything that i got wrong, let me know. If you don't say anything, then for my own personal reasons, I will assume I am right. Wow my fingers hurt...... .

Whoah, can't belive that you make more than 8k frames with such quality and design, even if it comes from me, a nab who rarely touchs the drawing, and art part of my computer, I'm really impressed. Also, since I've started watching the series, I've liked every changements on each episode, from some guys around a tree to a bunch of survivors full of bandages, the animation (especially blood) is fluid, and with the last preview you did, you kept the suspense to the max, and like everyone in this comments box, I'm waiting the next episode with impatience :)

Wow. It's shocking what kind of questions these guys are asking-Most of them can be found some place or another... I've found inspiration to make a Faq :P
Just to take a couple n00b questions off your back, Krinkels

Okay, I am sick and tired of all these stupid n00bs fucking up the story and plot of madness combat. So now I am going to write a summary of every episode and explain it as I go along. Ill make sure I use small words so the stupid little n00bs wont get confused:

1)Essentially the first "official" episode of madness combat, Hank J. Wimbleton (thats the guy going around killing everybody) attacks a guy for his boom box. About 20 other dudes come out of nowhere and retaliate, but Hank kills 'em all. Finally Jesus shows up (I assume you all know who Jesus is, if not, fuck you) and starts throwing Hank round and generally kicking his ass. Jesus summons a cannon but Hank kills him with a Mac 11 smg. A couple dozen more guys come out from the side and are systematically butchered by Hank with two PPKs. Hank then shoots the guy who's been dancing the whole time in the background, and starts dancing to the music from the boom box.

2)Hank is once again on a rampage, this time he's after the sheriff who has stolen Hank's pie. Hank makes it the roof of a building, and blows a hole in the roof. Conveniently the sheriff is just below him, thanks to his sheriff tracker. Half way through the animation Tricky (the clown) appears in the doorway of a room with an M16, but is killed by Hank. Jesus revives all the dead guys in the room as zombies, who Hank blows away with a grenade. Hank gets into an elevator, but is besieged by two guys with a welding torch. Hank kills them both with a grenade and quickly escapes through the hole they made in the top of the elevator just as the doors open and a barrage of bullets fly into the elevator. Hank blows the elevators cables with a Mossberg 500, sending the guys in the elevator plunging toward their doom. Finally Hank reaches the sheriff and is about to kill him when Jesus comes up from behind him and shoots hank in the head with a desert eagle.

3)Hank is brought back to life by an unknown power and heads after the sheriff. After killing some of the sheriffs goons, the sheriff spots Hank on a camera and activates the "Improbability Drive" a machine that can warp reality. As a result of the activation, when Hank hits a guy he goes flying sideways, then up into the ceiling. Another consequence is that a section of the hallway Hank is standing in drops away. Tricky suddenly shows up in the void with an M60 and tries to blow Hank away. Tricky fails and flies away, only to reappear in a door way and kick Hank out into the void. Hank lands in front of a bakery, and confronts several enemy's with an MP5k. Hank kills a number of them, before a giant marshmallow squishes some dead bodies, as the sun sprouts arms, legs, and a body. Earlier Hank had taken a stop sign out of the ground which he now uses to kill the sun. Once the sun dies the sky goes black. Tricky flies down behind Hank with a shmiter, but is speared to the marshmallow with the stop sign. Hank leaves the scene just as Tricky is turned into a zombie by Jesus. Hank kills several guys standing around as four walls descend around him, trapping him. Two grunts fall from the ceiling, and hank kills both of them with a Steyr AUG. After the room has filled with blood, Jesus drops down and revives three guys. Hank kills the zombies but is thrown through the wall. Hank then shoots Jesus who fades away. Hank makes it to the sheriff brandishing a Mossberg 500, and is just about to blow his face in when Jesus reappears and stabs Hank with his sword. As Hank dies he kills both the sheriff and Jesus.

4)Hank has once again been resurrected by an unknown power is heading for Tricky's hideout, Club M. The first act of violence takes place as Hank driving his Bentley into two guys outside a building. Hank enters the building with a silenced Mac 10, and proceeds to kill everyone in his path. Hank looks around a corner and we see the first 133t, or l337 agent with a desert eagle. The agent sends a grunt with a night stick to take care of Hank, who captures the grunt and uses him as a shield while the 133t agent fires at him. Hank knocks the gun away and stabs the agent in the throat with the night stick. Hank then rounds the corner, flips a vending machine onto a grunt, strangles another and destroys the rest with a katana and MP5. Hank finally heads down some stairs fending off a few grunts and enters Tricky's DJ room filled with 20 grunts dancing to the music Tricky is playing. Hank shoots Tricky in the face with a MP5. The crowd turns and looks at him, when Tricky pops up and gestures at the crowd to take Hank down. 19 of the grunts charge Hank (one hangs out in the back and takes a smoke) and he hacks his way through to Tricky. Hank sticks the katana in his face, as the door blows open killing the guy in the back. In walks Jesus and a zombified 133t agent. Jesus resurrects all the dead grunts and sics them on Hank, who pulls out a 1911 and slaughters the grunts once again. Hank reaches Jesus as the 133t agent fires a G36 at Hank. He deflects all the bullets but one which hits him in the head. Hank falls to the ground as the 133t agent points the gun at Hank's head. Hank suddenly jumps up and cuts the agents head in half. Hank engages Jesus with his sword, but Jesus pulls out a desert eagle and fires three bullets into Hank's body. Jesus is just about to finish him off, when Hank pulls out a detonator and blows him and Jesus to pieces. Tricky shrugs and puts on the chicken dance song. He then dances.

5) MC 5 starts with Hank, in a kick-ass new outfit strangling 133t agents (who are now the main victims). Hank then crashes through a skylight brandishing two mini Uzi smg's and systematically kills every 133t agent in his general vicinity. After killing the 133t agents in two rooms Hank starts to head into a third room but the door closes cutting him off. Hank is like "WTF?" until Jesus revives the dead agents in the room and blows the roof off the building. Hank fires the Uzis at Jesus, who deflects them. Jesus then engages hank in close quarters combat. Hank appears to get the upper hand until jesus summons his sword. Hank goes like "fuck this" and leaps over the wall with Jesus and the zombie agents in close pursuit. Jesus comes up from behind Hank as he whips out the mini Uzis and tries to nail Jesus. Jesus cheats by using his bullet deflecting power and slashes Hank's back. Hank is like "you son of a bitch" and resumes kicking Jesus' ass all over Nevada. Jesus starts throwing agents at Hank, who grabs the deagles from the agents, but is pushed over the edge of a canyon. Hank lands on a ledge, as Jesus drops down and promptly gets shot in the chest. The 133t agents jump down but are wiped out a la Matrix style. Jesus gets up and throws Hank off the ledge. Hank lands on an unlucky 133t agent, tosses a deagle into an agent and cuts down the rest with an Uzi. Suddenly Tricky's sign shoots out of the ground and runs into a 133t agent. Hank grabs a massive Steyr AUG and shoots Tricky in the face as he pops out of the ground. Hank and Jesus are about to start fighting again when Tricky sacrifices his sanity for enough power to kill both of them. Tricky then leaps out of the ground, and knocks Hank onto the top of a cliff. Two guys, presumably Sanford and Deimos, drive up to Hank and gives him a katana. Tricky appears with half of Jesus head, and goes all kung-fu on Hank. Hank manages to slices the top of Tricky's head off after getting speared with the stop sign. Tricky suddenly jumps up, rips Hank's head off, smashes it to the ground and makes two "V for victory" gestures.

6) Hank is brought back to life by Tricky, who leaves hank a note, a auto pistol and a knife. Hank enters a building and massacres the 133t agents. Hank enters a heavily guarded room armed with a Galil and a Barreta in hope of shutting down the Improbability Drive. After killing the guards Hank approaches a console which has a taunting note that says "Very Good! Now catch me if you can sucka! - T." Hank starts to ponder what to do next when a train literally comes out of nowhere running into hank. Hank manages to hold onto the last car, and starts working his way through 133t agents to the front. Tric

y who's driving the train sees Hank and detaches the engine from the passenger cars. Hank barely makes it out of the passenger cars and grips the coupling on the engine. Tricky starts poking Hank with his sign, while the engine passes Jesus. Jesus is raking leaves by a large sign that says "Bridge out ahead." He is also missing his halo, does that mean he has given up his pursuit of Hank? Eh, probably not. Also on his shirt it says "I am Jebus, this is as dressed up as I get LOL." Meanwhile the engine has launched off the edge of a canyon and squished some tourists. Hank, badly damaged, manages to get up but is killed by Tricky once again. Tricky resurrects Hank, straightens out his lead pipe and starts to get the upper hand on Tricky. Tricky dashes away, using his powers to bring down a building in front of him and Hank. Hank fights his way to the exit and finds Tricky purchasing a hotdog from a vendor (note: this is the only guy never killed in the MC series). Catching Tricky off-guard Hank uses a battle ax to suspend Tricky in the air over the edge of a canyon, while shooting him with a P90. Hank drops Tricky over the edge, who falls until someone (the unknown power maybe) brings him back as a fiery demon clown from hell! BWAH-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!!

7) MC 7 starts out with Hank lying in a pool of his own blood. He struggles to get up and we see that he's missing half his head. Tricky demon jumps down and mauls Hank's body. Tricky demands that Hank get back up, but he refuses. Tricky then resurrects Hank in an even cooler outfit then before. Two shafts drop down behind Hank, who kills the agents that come out. Tricky chases Hank into one of the shafts and into a room swarming with agents. Hank takes a FAMAS from one of the agents and heads into a cargo elevator. A hidden agent in the elevator wounds Hank with a 1911 but is quickly dispatched. Tricky punches out the elevator doors and drops onto the descending elevator. Tricky starts to rip the ceiling off the elevator just as the doors open. Hank leaps into the room and kills two agents. Tricky somehow is able to get into the room and covers the floor with fire. Hank hangs from a pipe embedded in the ceiling, while cocking a combat shotgun. When Hank shoots Tricky we see that the buckshot damages a small machine in Tricky's head. This machine is apparently a Portable Improbability Drive, and the source of Tricky's power. The buckshot reduces the Portable Improbability Drive's functioning capacity to below 50%. Tricky withstands the blast and smacks Hank through a door into a new room. Two agents are instantly killed by Hank, and another 4 dispatched as well. Hank picks up a sword, an Armsel Striker, and moseys on into another room which is a dead end. Suddenly a giant fist starts punching through the floor. A huge shotgun is thrust through the hole and covers the room with buckshot. Hank jumps down the hole and comes face to face with an agent twice his size, and speared with two stakes through his head. Hank leaps upon the agent's shotgun and pumps three shotgun shells into the agent's face. Barely fazed the agent reloads his gun, when Hank grabs hold of his gun. The agent (or MAG Torture) tries to shake Hank off, and finally punches Hank through a support beam. The agent trundles over to Hank and whacks him with the butt of the gun across a canyon. Hank lands on a normal 133t agent, killing him. Two grunts jump up from the floor and engage Hank. Hank rips the first grunt's heart out and tears the others chest and cheek skin away. After the deaths of a few 133t agents, Hank looks up to see the MAG Torture Agent reloading his shotgun with a supermagnum 20kg slug. Hank wisely heads indoors, only to be confronted by more agents. The MAG agent's slug kills the first while Hank shoots the rest with a 1911 he picked up. Hank then looks into a weapons locker and grabs a chainsaw. Hank proceeds through the door labeled "Proceed." Hank cuts the first two agents to shreds, until the MAG agent suddenly crawls through the doorway. Hank mauls the agent's face finally killing him/it. As soon as the MAG agent dies, Hank is once again wounded by another agent below him. Hank leaps down and slaughters the agents before heading into a new room. Hank kills the three agents inside, who's bodies are absorbed by Tricky. Tricky enters the room via the ventilation system as a mini Tricky demon. Hank attacks Tricky, but loses the chainsaw. Tricky beats Hank up and hurls him through a wall. Hank lands in front of two A.T.P. (Advanced Training Program) agents and one 133t agent who are fixing the Portable Improbability Drive. The agents are about to shoot Hank when a new and improved Jesus jumps down from the roof and executes them with his S&W .500 revolver. Jesus then spears Hank on the end of his sword before shooting him in the head. Tricky pokes out of the hole in the wall, and goes after Jesus. Jesus shoots the Portable Improbability Drive dismantling it. Without the Portable Improbability Drive, Tricky is rendered powerless and reverts to his normal form. Now weak, Jesus easily kills Tricky. Now we see the Auditor, the guy who has been controlling everything from behind the scenes. He finds the struggles of Hank, Tricky and Jesus.... amusing, kind of a weekend distraction.

Hey StormWraith, You got a few things there right but, now I'm not gonna brag but I think I know moar aboot madness then anyone except the almighty krinkels. I won't point alot of the things out abbot what you said but Hank is not after the sheriff because he stole hanks pie. The whole hanks pie thing is a internet joke. In Madness Interactive that's the case. However, Krinkels himself has stated that is not the case in the actual series. Even me, I do not know why Hank went after the sheriff, but I don't think Krinkels himself knows why either. IN case you all didn't know, Krinkels only wanted to make the first two madness flashes, Combat and Redeemer, then it would have ended. He made a series out of it however because of the success he had. So now krinkels has to put together a story that follows with the first two flashes. Tricky got beat down in redeemer but came back unscathed. Krinkels has done a fine job but until he gives us these answers, we will never know. Thanks for reading.

Their names are Sanford and Deimos. Sanford is the one with the hook-crowbar thing and the lip, Deimos is the one with the dual guns and headphones.

The Story of Madness, from what I can figure out

Combat:
Hank fights and kills a guy for his boombox, leading to a long battle with lots of guys, so Jebus goes to kill him to end the violence, however, Hank succeeds and dances

Redeemer:
The Sheriff of Nevada wants Hank arrested for his killing spree, so Hank goes to assassinate him, however, the Sheriff has hired Jebus as a mercenary. Hank encounters Tricky for the first time, as an insane thug with no notable skills. Hank fails to kill the Sheriff, and Jebus kills him.

Avenger:
Hank once again tries to kill the Sheriff, and, during this rampage, the Sheriff activates the Improbability Drive, hoping the craziness will kill off Hank. Hank encounters Tricky, who was respawned by the Drive, and who's skills have increased. Hank kills Tricky, but Tricky is resurrected by the higher powers, gaining a higher resiliance to injury. Hank is stabbed by Jebus, but kills Jebus and the Sheriff before dying.

Apotheosis:
Hank has discovered that the zombified Tricky has become a threat, so he goes on yet another rampage through Club M, where Tricky is the DJ. On his way to the rave party, he encounters a L33t Agent for the first time, possibly under Tricky's control. He finds and shoots Tricky in the face, but he doesn't die. Jebus appears with the zombified L33T agent, and Hank uses a suicide bomb to kill Jebus and himself.

Depredation:
Hank realizes that he has to deactivate the Improbability Drive to kill Tricky, so he shoots and slashes his way through a L33T facility, only to be interrupted by Jebus. The battle moves away from the building and through a canyon until Tricky appears. Hank shoots him, which somehow activates an insane power in him. Tricky brutally slaughters Jebus, and kills Hank after a brief battle. From this point on, the episodes from a single action sequence.

Antipathy:
Hank is resurrected by Tricky, who wants to make him suffer, so Hank takes another shot at reaching the Drive. He reaches it, but before he can deactivate it, Tricky runs him over with a train. Tricky forces him to face waves of enemies and suffer numerous injuries, until eventually Hank gets lucky, and kills Tricky. The Improbability Drive considers this a critical error, and ressurects Tricky as a monster, more powerful than ever before.

Consternation:
Tricky uses his newfound power to torture Hank constantly, before healing him to fight yet more enemies. Hank goes for a while fighting off L33T agents until Tricky throws him through a wall, incapacitating him. Jebus appears, kills a few L33T agents (the first time he's ever actively done so) and then kills Hank and Tricky. The Auditor is introduced, and turns up the difficulty setting on the Drive.

Inundation:
Jebus goes to kill the Auditor and destroy the Drive, bringing an end to Madness. He battles his way to the Auditor and almost disables the Drive, when the Auditor uses a bazooka to wound Jebus. however, the Drive is destroyed in the crossfire, and the facility is destroyed as Normality is returned. Jebus is killed by the blast, however, the Auditor clearly survives.

Mandess 9:
Sanford and Deimos go to find Hank, only to discover that the Auditor is still alive, and has stolen Jebus halo, recieving his powers. very little else is known...
