I think going for shorter but more frequent flashes is a swell idea. I had a similar problem with my fanfiction. I would spend two or three months writing 20000-30000 word chapters, driving everyone (including myself) nuts, but when I switched to 8000 word chapters every week, my readers got their fix and I got to relax a bit.

A though of the latest Madness:

MC9: Sanford and Deimos are taking Hank J. Wimbleton to a place, were to revive. (lots of deaths later).. Finally, when Hank is revived. He gets mad, because Hank wanted to die. Hank kills Sanford and Deimos, and seeks up the Auditor. Some final action appear, as he kills the Audior, he eventually seeks the "Improbability Drive". To shut it off (just like in MC6, but didn't succéed). He eventually destroys it, and takes suicide.

The Force-A-Nature is pretty sweet since VALVe didn't check where the scout can now jump. The energy drink allows him to get past sentries but since it takes away his pistol he still gets bumfucked by them.

The perfect ending for madness (although I sincerely doubt it will happen) would be for Hank to kill the Auditor after a long battle, and for the camera to pan to the right, showing Jesus' revolver against the back of Hank's head, then Jesus pulling the trigger, shortly followed by the caption "And then there was one" for an ending.

Hank, of course, will likely die, cuz, well, it's in his nature to kill everything and then finally get owned by some stroke of bad luck against him.

So! 9,500 frames. I don't think there's been many flashes on NG with that sort of a length to it. Probably done to a heavy electro-music beat that fits the entire thing perfectly, with blood and gore aplenty, lots of variants of weapons and violent kills and deaths, a half-dozen characters average in each frame, bullets flying, all the tricked-out animation sequences you're so fucking good with...

I daresay this longtime Madness fan(atic) will be moar than plz'd. Eagerly awaiting. I hope krinkles replies to this. For people who don't understand, If you have seen Madness 7 you see that Hank wants to stop being revived and die. In the start of the trailer you see Sanford and Demois (good name selection krinkles!) pick up Hank and carry him. Later on Sanford and Demois know that Hank does not want to be revived, but they know Hank is the only one who can stop the Auditer. If you are a madness junkie (like me) then you would know that Hank always comes back with different cloths when Tricky revives him, but I guess that when Demois revies him Hank comes back with a arm (yes that is his arm killing Demois). How'd I do krinkles?

If I had to guess how this goes, I'd say Sanford and Deimos arrive on the scene to help revive the only one who can stop the madness, Hank, so they pick him up and transport Hank's body to somewhere, where his body is reconstructed using parts from Tricky, and Jebus, and possibly some giant scorpion, which gives us a possible explanation for the scorpion thing, but it's unlikely. 2nd way it could go, they reconstruct hank using Tricky and Jebus' body parts, and Hank is reborn, just no scorpion arm. From there, Hank teams up with Sanford and Deimos to defeat the Auditor, but Deimos is killed by Auditor with his Scorpion arm, ( Auditor's arm is a new ability he acquired when he took Jebus' halo) and from their Sanford and Hank fight through waves and waves of Henchmen and then fight the Auditor. 3rd way it can go, Deimos and and Sanford recover hanks body while Auditor is gaining power from Jebus' halo, D and S fight their way through more henchmen to bring Hank to someplace where hank's body is reconstructed using something, like body parts or lightning bolts ( from MC7) and then Hank is reborn in order to end the madness. Before Hank can set up, Deimos is ambushed by the Auditor and his scorpion arm ( one of his new powers) and gets killed horribly. Sanford and Hank are then trapped in the building they're hiding in, with waves of henchmen running in, the Auditor is using his powers to control the henchmen minds so he can do the killing, without having to go in and actually kill people, ( another ability he has gained) Sanford is then killed by the auditor or his henchmen, Hank is left alone to fight off what's left of the madness, and so he fights, da da da da, Hank is now face to face with the auditor, he is once again pulverized, and with his last breath like in every madness, he kills the auditor ( epically) and releases the heart of improbability! Which unleashes a flash of light upon Nevada, and the cycle of madness will repeat again, giving way for MC10, as for Hank, oh he probably dies again or lives somehow to continue fighting. I know what I wrote is a little mixed up, but that's one of my predictions, as for the name, I say call it Madness Combat Depredation! oh wait that's already taken, how bout Madness Combat Upheaval or Madness Combat Resurrection, yeah go with that one.

Actually that makes me wanna ask something. Has anybody assumed the arm belonged to the Auditor? the scorpion arm. I mean he did take Jebus's Halo, which contains the Savior's divine abilities, it could have mutated him with it's power and formed a scorpion's tail on him, I think that is more likely to happen, the whole Hank getting the arm is possible but why would he kill Deimos with it? That's the only thing that throws that theory off, so it' has to be the Auditor in the picture, no other reasonable explanation for it.

That's another possibility, I still think that arm belongs to the Auditor or some creature he created, like you said Deimos helped revive hank so why would he just kill him?
