I just finished the game. It was seriously one of the best videogames I have ever played. As a long time Madness fan this was something special to me. THANK YOU

THANK YOU KRINKELS!

Finished the story mode just a minute ago.

Dude, this is an amazing game. There were just so many great things about it.

The gameplay was exactly what I anticipated from a Madness game: fast-paced, engaging, and sometimes confusing. There were parts of the Science Tower where I was just swinging as fast as I could at nobody in particular because Hank was literally buried under the sheer amount of Nexus Core guards in the room. That might not have been intended, but it certainly didn’t detract from the experience.

The storyline was incredibly captivating. The story was probably my favorite part of Nexus Classic - figuring out the origins of Dr. Christoff, discovering the secrets of Project Nexus, and getting some character development in between was very nice. This game found me combing through every room to see if I could find some random note that Dr. Christoff left to the zeds in the mining sector or something like that. I read everything I could find, and it definitely made me more invested in the events that unfolded.

The soundtrack was phenomenal. Locknar and Cheshyre did a great job, as usual. As a Sheriff fan I’m legally obligated to say that my favorite song is Deputized. That’s… uh… that’s pretty much all I have to say about that.

This one isn’t as big as the gameplay and storyline, but I want to say that the character development was exceptional, especially with the dialogue. Definitely one of my favorite parts of the game. Every character had their own unique way of speaking and acting, which contributed greatly to their personality. Christoff always carried himself like he was on some divine mission, Deimos wouldn’t stop cracking jokes, and the only time that I recall Hank making a joke was when Sanford crashed a truck and almost killed Deimos. Very characteristic of all three of them. You even learned things about lesser-featured characters, like Sheriff, Phobos, and Tricky. The mainline Madness series doesn’t have much room for dialogue or other methods of indirect characterization, so this game really helped with displaying that stuff and allowing for more personal investment in the characters.

This is getting long, so I’ll end it here. Yeah, this game is amazing. I haven’t been this excited about the release of a game and this satisfied with the final product for literal years. I’m thoroughly impressed with what you, Swain, and everyone else churned out in those 7 years. Definitely my favorite entry in the entire Madness saga.

P.S.
Playground is pretty fun too. Sheriff is definitely the most powerful character to play because he:
Has a movement speed comparable to Hank’s
Has only an ever-so-slightly worse dodge
Has infinite ammo for every gun in the game which I personally think is absolutely hilarious

At long last.

I SAW MINE THERE OMG I---
IDK HOW TO FEEL HHHH TYYYY
