I think going for shorter but more frequent flashes is a swell idea. I had a similar problem with my fanfiction. I would spend two or three months writing 20000-30000 word chapters, driving everyone (including myself) nuts, but when I switched to 8000 word chapters every week, my readers got their fix and I got to relax a bit.
The "WHEN YOU GONNA UPDATE?!" messages disappearing from my inbox was also nice.
You'd think there would have to be some kind of bone structure in your head if half your face got blown off.

Wow SlashFirestorm, a Newgrounds/Madness fan that writes fanfiction? So I'm not the only one...
I update with the full story, all the chapters at once. The suspense is just annoying. It's rather short, so it gets done in a few months.
No one reads mine anyway, cause it's all windy and depressing... I'm making horrible flash and playing Portal Defenders anyway, and those Madness toons are addicting.
I would rather get a full blast of Madness because the endings to the shorts would be weird, the characters would have 2 minute lives... Yeah. Still, suppose the new way is better, I haven't been pouncing on MC9 unitl sometime in November, and I wasn't really that eager for it until the post before this was seen.
