I work for apple and i fix all the mac problems, so this is what i came up with:

1.take animation
2.punch animation
3.drop kick monitor
4.buy new computer
5.put animation on new computer
6.repeat steps 1-5 until success

Best solution: Find an amazing PC and when you're done, put the .fla onto a memory stick and export it on that.

That's if there's no possible way your pc will do it.

you may have allready considered this, but have you tried these things?

1- unisnstall flash, i had a compile error with my cs5, and i fixed it by reinstalling
2- perhaps change the directory it published to, not shure if this'll help, but it couldn't hurt to try
3- try publishing on another computer, mabe its just a problem with your computer... i made a 6000 frame animation on a laptop thats 4 years old, and it worked fine, so it may not be your hardware....
