Yeah they're pretty much the worst thing ever.
Great game, but unplayable because of lag in Flash 10 and probably newer. And in older it lacks some visuals, but is playable.
I don't see why everyone is complaining. I finished it in 3 days!
Good update tough,those L33T guards and such were nice,but this update REALLY gave the feeling it was a challenge i had to complete and not just a game i finished in 1 2 3 like episode 1

I gave the game 8 gigs of RAM and it still craps out on the 5th stage. I had a few ideas on how to help it though, however I don't know if Swain can implement them.
Since the bodies stop being vector when killed, maybe find a way to apply that to bodies that have been knocked down. Since a lot of the new monsters get knocked down instead of die often, making them in to images for the couple frames when they are on the ground would help alleviate the lag, it would make their body parts not move when on the ground but changing the length of time they stay down and in image form would allow you to keep the high enemy count without having so much lag.
Also, if you must have that many enemies on screen, when breaking free of a zombie hold, if it would knock all the zombies back, lag wouldn't be such a problem. Most people can deal with framerate drops but lag doesnt effect the zombie grabs so if you break free of one the others can still grab you during low framerates, knock them all back and lag wouldn't be as much of a problem
Still a great game and will still play it, I just hate not being able to play on Hard because of the damn one hit zombies :)
Holy crap! I just played the Bar in Ep. 1, and there was Swain, Krinkels, Cheshyre, and Luis all drinking and appereared as enemies! Nice little easter egg there, Swain!

It still runs sluggish, unfortunately. The bullet shells seem to be where most of the issues are coming from.

The magic bar is awesome,yes,but the bullet time could be very useful with 10 abominations on screen.
I'd suggest to use CTRL for bullet time and SHIFT for magic attacks.
