YO. Hello. I'm here to report progress on the next room of 9.5 part 2. This room needs a particularly high body count, the last room was a little too 1v1 for my liking and that stuff always drags (at least when I animate it). It's my goal to get through this room asap so I can get into the next one and do it again. There's been plenty of movement and... plot lookin things so far, so this act of the cartoon needs momentum and a volume of violence. Tired of the low body counts, maybe I'm getting old and I forgot what action even is...
(spoilers; don't get too accustomed to the look of that shotgun and pistol, there)
IN OTHER NEWS; I got some shit to figure out.
I had worked with Cethic over the last couple years to round out the sprite library I animate with, but in the blistering light of things that have surfaced from the past I've elected to have their work tossed and redone.
Here's a lil bit of what Fleet's been doing. They're not working to simply copy what Ceth had done but to alter and add some 'MPN' flavor to the design a little. This is an opportunity to make a slightly more distinct aesthetic.
edit; I may have to do these myself. I may be reaching out for assistance, or just making a thing of working on a handful of them at a time on twitch streams. Stay tuned; the show must go on, ect al.
Speaking of Project Nexus; man, some of these new maps are fun. How can I even say that after fucking with it for what, six years? Next update will feature yet another new Arena Mode map; The Facility. Here you'll face Nexus not as Hank and company, but as your Arena character and your supporting faction. You got this on your Steam Wishlist yet?
Thanks for stickin' around.
