Another year, another violent altercation between myself and the other judges for MD entries. This year felt even more difficult than last year's deliberation, and I place the blame for that squarely on the quality of stuff submitted. I am astonished that this series inspires such incredible feats of artistic prowess. This year we've gotten an astonishing 695 Artwork submissions, 117 Animations, 72 Musical entries, and 5 games!
Last year felt like a bloody massacre, cutting down the list of winners over and over until we've figured out who winds up on top. It's never easy, there's so much blood, and we feel like monsters trying to figure this out. I can't say it enough, guys; the support for this series in its many forms, whether you're here to watch along, or create, is absolutely appreciated.
