Hello! Madness Day is fast approaching, again! September 22nd, 2025 marks the eighteenth Madness Day here on Newgrounds! Since even before the concept of a dedicated day to these animations and the fans that supported it, fans like you have been showing up and shelling out mountains of real talent into the work. Madness Day continues to serve as a hot point of cartoons, artwork, music, and even games that were created out of wild passion run amok. I thank you guys for following along for so long.

This year, thanks to some extremely generous donators who have been tuning into my Twitch streams, We’ve got a $2,500 dollar prize pool this year. We’ve also got the old judge lineup headed by MissEbola, and we’re going to be going through the ever arduous and painful task of figuring out which Art, Animation, and Music submissions will be ranked such that they will receive a monetary prize. This year I will also be throwing in Plushes/figures, posters, and shirts for winners, too. Details as follows:

Once again I will be streaming during Madness Day, and again we will be dragging some people out in front of the microphone for proper interviews. We’ll be streaming on three distinct days here, schedule as follows;

Sept 21st; Interviews with a handful of Madness content creators wherein we get to pick their minds (lineup will be posted approx one week before this date)

Sept 22nd; 8~ hour stream dedicated to crawling through the Newgrounds portal watching Madness cartoons and looking through the Madness artwork.

Sept 23rd; ‘Mop up’ stream, where we will be hunting down stragglers and shining light on them, as well.

Submission rules/guidelines;

• We can only regard entries submitted on Sept 22 through the end of sept 23 at the very LATEST. That's a 48 hour window but I have to implore that you land it on Sept 22 to be easier to find and showcase. Things tend to get lost in the chaos and arriving late makes it rough.
• In the event of a collab placing, all winnings will be sent to the collab organizer for them to distribute as they see fit.
• Music submissions can only be judged as individual songs. Soundscapes or Albums should be parsed/broken down into their individual tracks so that judging can be done on a individual basis.
• All winnings will be distributed via Paypal.
• In order for us to find you, please tag your submission with #MadnessDay2025, this is very important!
• YOWO - You Only Win Once. A person can post multiple entries across every category, but can only win placement once.
• It should go without saying, but just in case; post it here on Newgrounds!
