at least doom3 was released.
First game I ever played was the Duke Nukem side scroller. I have a boxed copy of Duke Nukem 2 floppy disk with the price tag still on it in my closet. I use to watch my own father playing all the early Duke Nukems. Its really what got me into video games in the first place. It was a epic kick in the balls when I heard the news.

we're on the same page then. Duke brought us into the realm of (any demention) ass kicking. And now it seems, he has taken us out of it. I am sad. He was pretty much what kept me benching 275lbs, curling 115 and eating Tabasco/beef-jerky salad. I am really upset about this.

I never really got into Duke myself. I tried the Live Arcade version and I kept getting blown up. Though looing at the gameplay footage they released, it looked like Forever would've been a good 'un.
Dam.... I was actually gonna pre-order this 10 years ago with the supposed release, never got the money, saw the news on that one kid with the original receipts though...This is a very big shame :( to end the shooter that started all shooters...
I DID PREORDER IT.

EA is the only group I could think that might do him justice. Otherwise I am skeptical to the point of sniper fire.
