I leave tomorrow for New Orleans. I'll be gone for 7-10 days. It's going to suck, I just want to finish this monster and I'm going to miss Pico Day.
Good news though; MC10 is 8885 frames long right now, Sean's track is finished (and superb), and I only foresee needing to add another 1400-2000 frames of animation to draw this thing into a conclusion. I can't wait til this thing is done.

What is great about not giving us any screenshots is that we will genuinely not know what to expect. Past madness episodes where good, but they were predictable because of all the screenshots and trailers. With this, literally anything, ANYTHING, could happen, and the twists and turns will be greatly enhanced. I look forward to seeing the conclusion of an exciting series.

1400-2000 frames - 3-4 months, taht isn´t good new
You can't extrapolate pace like that, it doesn't work that way. Over the last year there wasn't an even rate of animation, considering that in December I had like maybe a scant 2000 frames completed (things got a bit hectic at the end of that year), and I dropped the animation entirely for months at a time (MD2010 animation, road tripping, temp work). From when I return we're looking at about a month til release, give or take a week or two.

Goddamnit man, quit pushing yourself so hard. You should take breaks. But it sucks that you're gonna miss Pico Day. That, and my birthday is coming up.
Just sit down and take a break from sitting in a 5x5 dark spiderwebbed room with the hum of the computer and your snoring being the only sound. You need to spend some time with your family, relatives. Just take a break. I can wait for it.
