Kickstarter update.

Hey there guys! Just wanted to hit you with a bit of news concerning our kickstarter breaking 56k!

We're beyond thrilled to see it hit the mark, but we did a little investigating to find some cracks in the wall, so to speak. Looking at a recent rush we had, we found several donations, back to back to back chipping in the exact same amount coming from accounts that were made too recently named things like "zzzzz" and "accountfake". Someone's duping the system, it would seem. This is essentially pulling cash that we need out from under us on crowdsourcing success. Sorting things out with Kickstarter administration has been added to our priority list. We're going to cross that finish line correctly, without people using false accounts to essentially short change us.

We're still optimistic.

Other'n that, have some of the concept art that came about when I decided that Mags shouldn't have the the monopoly on physical volume!

Are the 2 Savior sponsors at least legit? Sure seems like you're taking a risk, so close to the finish line/minimum, but I can understand wanting to finish up legitimately, win or lose. Here's hoping for the best!

The big ones are legit. We've confirmed this much. This was a string of 600s that is screwing with our totals and we're blowing whistles.

I was really happy when I went on the Kickstarter and thought you guys had made it! Then when I saw the latest update with the fake accounts. Fuckin 'ell...

Damn, that's a very dickish move then. I imagine most dedicated people would increase their pledge (I did) if the goal was a tiny step away, not to mention guys new to the kickstarter but willing to shell out some dollars. But now that the goal is "reached" and nearest stretch goal is a bit far away, there's seemingly no point in joining.

Bad movie at a bad time, who would do such a thing, and why? Unless it's some kind of twisted affection.

There has been pledge increases, which has been invaluable. I have no idea why someone would do this. It's baffling and infuriating.

Yeah those frauds complete screwed up the total, to me and others because I get easily confused about where at now, I presume we at somewhere around $3,000.00 now? Aswell, that is a security flaw on Kickstart I hope soon Kickstart fixed this security loophole and fixed the total. Aswell soon they will support PayPal on it, just soon as possible. Anyway, I hope Madness: Project Nexus 2's Kickstart reach the goal? Good Luck on it.

After you responded, I checked the ass-end of the contributor list, did some math. Thanks for letting us know how much of an actual shortfall there was, via email... good to know my deductive skills are spot on :\

Sure turned up a bucket of hornets though, both KS and Amazon sending out emails just after you blew the whistle. 4-chan gets the media spot light for allegedly hacking celeb photos, and (likely) NG knocks KS into a cocked hat on the DL... it's going to get stranger, the older we get, you know?
